This course will be taught online and in English. The course will include pre-recorded lectures, live discussions about scientific articles, and a final paper. In this course we will explore the ways in which the scientific community, and political campaigns engage with the public. We will also learn about the most (and least) effective ways to communicate with the public, and consider what this means for real-world events (eg, vaccine hesistancy, 2020 US presidential election, etc). |
